A delegation from Malaysia's UCSI University visited Sichuan University of Culture and Arts (SCUCA) from February 9 to 11 to advance international education partnerships. Led by Dato Peter Ng Tong Se, founder of UCSI University and Group Chairman of UCSI Group, together with his wife Datin Lily Ng Sze Man and Group CEO Mr Christopher Byran Ng, the delegation conducted extensive exchanges on collaborative programs.

SCUCA President Gong Zhenxu, Deputy Party Secretary Liao Jiang, Vice Presidents Chen Zhi and Zhong Xinchun, alongside other senior administrators, accompanied the delegation on comprehensive campus tours. The visitors examined facilities across the Chengdu, Mianyang, Zitong, and Western Plein Air Base campuses, gaining systematic insights into SCUCA's educational infrastructure, academic achievements, and development planning. The delegation expressed high regard for the university's distinctive educational features and growth trajectory.

On the afternoon of February 10, a formal signing ceremony took place at the Zitong campus. President Gong Zhenxu presided over the proceedings and witnessed the agreement signing. The two institutions reached broad consensus on joint talent cultivation and international cultural exchanges. This milestone marks a new chapter of comprehensive, in-depth, and regularized cooperation, establishing a solid foundation for a long-term strategic partnership. 

This exchange and signing ceremony represent a significant achievement in our university's active implementation of the 'Belt and Road' education initiative and comprehensive advancement of internationalization strategy. It has further deepened educational cooperation between Chinese and Malaysian universities while continuously expanding our institution's open education and international collaborative development framework.
