Recently, the results of the 8th Boao Art Exhibition & Australia-China International Art Festival have been officially announced. Teachers and students majoring in Recording Arts from the College of Digital Film and Television, Sichuan University of Culture and Arts, performed excellently at this international art event, winning 3 Gold Awards, 3 Silver Awards and 1 Bronze Award, which fully demonstrates the university’s strong teaching capacity and fruitful achievements in integrating art with technology.

In this competition, 7 students from our Recording Arts program took part. Liu Chenhan, Lai Furong and He Ningjing won Silver Awards, and Li Ruonan won the Bronze Award in the preliminary round. Xiao Xiao, Wan Zichen and Liu Chunyang won Gold Awards in the national final with solid professional skills and outstanding artistic performance. Meanwhile, Wu Xiangdong, Wu Xuan, Ma Xin, Peng Yuanhao, Lv Ning, Long Yichao and Li Zhangdi were awarded Excellent Instructors.

This achievement reflects our university’s philosophy of cultivating talents, promoting learning and teaching through competitions. The university attaches great importance to practical teaching and interdisciplinary integration, and actively builds a practical learning platform for students.

The 8th Boao Art Exhibition & Australia-China International Art Festival was held in late February at the International Conference Center of Boao Forum for Asia. Jointly organized by the Artists Committee of Chinese Culture Management Association and Qionghai Municipal Bureau of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, it is a high-level international art exchange event.

This year marks the opening year of Hainan Free Trade Port’s closure operation and the 25th anniversary of Boao Forum for Asia. Our teachers and students’ excellent performance on this important international platform is a high recognition of their professional abilities and the university’s teaching achievements. In the future, the university will continue to deepen teaching reform, expand international vision and promote the innovative development of art education.
